Store Return Policy

AN ORIGINAL RECEIPT, GIFT RECEIPT OR A PACKING SLIP IS REQUIRED FOR ALL RETURNS.

Return Policy

Most items purchased at The Paper Store retail locations may be returned for exchange, credit or refund within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt.  Merchandise must be returned in the manufacturer’s salable, like-new condition with the original packaging materials (including the barcode/UPC label), accessories, instructions and the original sales receipt; otherwise, your product may not be eligible for return or exchange.  Your name, address and phone number, valid government identification and the Store Manager’s approval are required for all refunds and exchanges.

SALE & CLEARANCE MERCHANDISE is final sale.  Returns are not accepted.

HOLIDAY DÉCOR ITEMS are not eligible for return after the Holiday.

PERSONALIZED & CUSTOMIZED MERCHANDISE is final sale.  Returns are not accepted.

GIFT CARD PURCHASES are non-refundable and non-returnable.

RETURNS MADE WITH A RECEIPT: We are happy to make a refund on eligible The Paper Store merchandise within 30 days.

*Due to increased fraud, we are no longer accepting personal checks as a form of payment. 

 

Refund Method

Refund will be in the same form as original purchase. Exceptions:  Refunds on purchases paid for by cash will be refunded in cash unless stores funds are not available. Returns made with gift receipt will be refunded as a merchandise card. A Manager approved return without a receipt is eligible only for a merchandise credit for the current selling price. (Please Note: When a gift receipt or packing slip is presented for the return, the refund will always be in the form of a The Paper Store merchandise credit.)

RETURNS AFTER 30 DAYS WITH THE RECEIPT: We are happy to issue a merchandise credit on eligible The Paper Store merchandise returned between 31 & 60 days.

Damaged Merchandise

We are happy to issue a merchandise credit on damaged merchandise with the original receipt and with the store manager’s approval. We are unable to accept returns on merchandise damaged by the customer.

 

NOTE: WE CAREFULLY MONITOR RETURNS and in some cases returns made with a receipt may be refused. The Paper Store reserves the right to deny any return.

 

Returning www.thepaperstore.com Purchases to a The Paper Store Retail Store

  • To return your online purchased product to a The Paper Store retail location, please visit our Store Locator for a location near you.
  • We will be happy to make a return or exchange for an online purchase in any The Paper Store location with your order shipment confirmation or packing slip. Present the original packing slip or proof of purchase to the Store Associate. All The Paper Store eligibility rules in the return policy still apply.
  • The original form of payment will be credited for your refund; if the item was a gift you will receive a The Paper Store merchandise card.
  • If at any time you need assistance, please call The Paper Store Customer Service at (844) 480-7100.

Concierge Service Returns & Refunds

We will be happy to credit the credit card when the original receipt is presented at the return. When a gift receipt or packing slip is presented for the return, the refund will be in the form of a The Paper Store merchandise credit. All other The Paper Store eligibility rules in the return policy still apply.

Concierge Service returns can only be accepted at a retail location of The Paper Store, and cannot be processed online.
