It’s easy to see why Hydro Flask water bottles are so popular; they’re durable, stylishly designed, and convenient to carry just about anywhere. They’re the perfect companions to have on-hand on all of your adventures, so you can stay hydrated, healthy, and happy out there!
As the summer begins to wind down, those of us in the East need to start thinking about some fun, outdoor activities to enjoy before the temperature takes a dive! That’s why we’ve put together a little list of some of our favorite outdoor activities and adventures, so that maybe you’ll be inspired to grab your Hydro Flask, get up, and get out there!
Bring Your Hydro Flask on a Picnic
Picnics seem like such an easy thing to enjoy; simply fill a cooler with snacks, sandwiches, and drinks, grab a blanket, and drive (or walk) to your favorite picnic spot. Life tends to get in the way, though, and this simple activity is either shelved or forgotten.
So, why not take a picnic break sometime soon? Fill up your SCOUT cooler tote or lunch bag, fill up your Hydro Flask, and enjoy some food out in the fresh air! Finding a grassy spot by the sea is always a plus, too – if you happen to be in the area!
Visit a Historical Site
One of the funnest things you can do outdoors is to visit a historical site such as Old Sturbridge Village. You’ll get to learn about the past, see some really cool things, and enjoy the outdoors – all at the same time! It’s also the perfect time to break out the stainless steel water bottles, as they’re durable enough to survive falls and tumbles that can occur when you’re walking on uneven ground!
Hydro Flask at the Beach!
Sure, this one’s a bit of a no-brainer, but some of us are nearing the end of beach season and favorable weather, so let this be your reminder – go to the beach, or the next time you’ll be enjoying the sun, sand, and surf will be in 2020! Fill a cooler with snacks, grab your Hydro Flask, and feel the sand between your toes.
Visit a Museum
Not all museums allow food or drink inside – in fact, few do. However, plenty are either located on or near picnic-friendly spots! Sounds like the perfect way to spend an afternoon with your Hydro Flask, if you ask us!
The EcoTarium is a family-friendly museum that’s local and features beautiful grounds and plenty of things to enjoy outdoors. You can even ride the train around the building as a fun way to view outdoor exhibits. We LOVE the EcoTarium!
Bring the Family to the Zoo
Spending a day at the zoo is a fun time no matter how old you are. The best zoos and aquariums take excellent care of their animals and actually help many sick and injured animals. They also spread the word about and contribute to conservation efforts, which is REALLY important!
That said, one of the best zoos around is Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon, MA. Their grounds are beautiful and filled with spots to take a break, enjoy a snack, and get hydrated. And because Hydro Flasks are insulated water bottles with convenient, carrying handles, they’ll easily follow you around all day long while keeping your favorite drink nice and chilly!
