Kimball Farm ice cream may just be the best around, and with three convenient locations in Massachusetts (Westford, Lancaster, and Carlisle) and a single one in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, there’s sure to be a “Kimball’s” that’s close to you! The original Kimball Farm in Westford not only has over 50 mouth-watering flavors of delicious ice cream, but they also have a grill, country store, driving range, pitch & putt, mini golf, bumper boats, arcade, batting cages, a spin zone, and a soaring eagle zip line! (Whew, that’s a lot!) Their ice cream is what’s sure to get you there, but with so many other fun activities to try out, you’ll be sure to make an afternoon out of it that everyone in the family will enjoy!
Cherry Hill Ice Cream
With two locations in Lunenburg and Townsend, Massachusetts, Cherry Hill Ice Cream serves up tasty cones that all ages can enjoy! Their Townsend, MA location also features a grill, so you can go there for dinner and stay for a delicious dessert! By the way, may we recommend the cookie dough ice cream? It’s seriously the best we’ve ever had. Soft serve fans, worry not – they serve a mean vanilla-chocolate swirl, too!
Rota Spring Farm
If you’re in the Sterling, MA area, then you need to try Rota Spring Farm. This third generation dairy farm not only sells delectable ice cream, but also has fresh-grown fruits &vegetables as well as homemade pastries, jams, and prepared meals! Their menu also features frozen yogurt, sherbet, sorbet, and more! Basically, they’ve got it all.
Hayward’s Ice Cream
Located in Nashua, New Hampshire, Hayward’s Ice Cream has been serving up their mouth-watering flavors since 1940. If you’re trying to watch your waistline, they also have homemade frozen yogurt, sherbet, and sorbet. Hayward’s is also a proud supporter of local businesses in the Nashua area, selling farm-fresh vegetables from Lavoie’s Farm (Hollis, NH) every day starting in late July through October.
